A career built around preparation

Mortgage lending changes constantly: program guidelines, appraisal standards, documentation, technology, market conditions, and the way buyers search for homes all evolve. Dan’s role is to make that complexity usable. He starts with the borrower’s goals, verifies the financial story, explains the tradeoffs, and builds a plan that can survive the pressure of an actual transaction.

That approach matters for a first-time buyer who needs a clear sequence, a move-up buyer coordinating a sale and purchase, a self-employed borrower with complex income, a Veteran using earned benefits, an investor evaluating property cash flow, or an older homeowner considering a reverse mortgage. The answer is not a product name. It is a documented strategy connecting the borrower, property, payment, cash to close, and timeline.

Education and professional preparation

Dan earned a degree in Economics from the University of Maryland and holds the Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist (CRMS) designation. His economics background supports the practical work of comparing cost, liquidity, risk, and opportunity—not trying to predict a market with certainty.

He also teaches Realtor education focused on artificial intelligence, customer relationship management, and social media. Those subjects are connected by a practical question: how can real estate professionals communicate more consistently, serve clients more effectively, and build durable businesses without losing the human relationship?

A resource for Realtors and referral partners

Dan’s stated goal is simple: help his referral partners do more business. That means more than returning a call after a contract is signed. It includes buyer preparation, financing education, difficult-scenario review, communication strategy, co-marketing conversations, and useful classes that partners can apply in their own businesses.

His BNI leadership experience includes serving as President, Vice President, and in Networking Education. Those roles reinforce the habits behind reliable referral relationships: clear expectations, consistent follow-through, generosity with expertise, and accountability to the people whose reputations are attached to an introduction.
